Hello Hello Everyone,
I hope that your Valentine's Day was a great one and for all my single people I hope it was a happy happy Single's Awareness Day as my friends and I call it :) So February means that its a month into the spring semester. With a month down, the heat is already on to do well in my classes. Its amazing how fast time goes as you keep getting older which is why I advise you folks to always discipline yourselves about keeping track of your daily duties, assignments, meetings, etc. Having good time management and being able to multitask will save you from the fear of overwhelming stresses and madness. I hope February is treating you well everyone and you're preparing for any importance in March! :) Have a great day!

New Semester :)
Hello Everyone,
The Spring 2015 semester has commenced here at HPU as of last week. With that being said and seeing that we are in a new year, I have set new goals for myself to achieve this semester and look forward to accomplishing them. This semester will be a long one but a very busy one for sure. Tomorrow marks the end to only week 2 of the semester and my head is already buried into the books. I know that sounds scary but its really not. As a student with a part time job, a full course load, and lots of other things to do on my plate, I am still learning to find a good balance in order to not lose myself to the stress while traveling the path to where I want to be. One of the amazing things about HPU is the learning experience of balance. HPU provides the necessary resources to help you in finding your balance with the friends you make, your professors who give you insight, and just its overall environment of beauty. So remember when times get tough, stay busy but also allow yourself a minute to step back and to remember what you are working so hard for. Have a great day! :)

Welcome 2015
Aloha and Happy New Year Everyone,
Hope these past few starting days of 2015 have been treating you all well and you have great and new goals to achieve this year! I have just returned from a great trip to beautiful New York :) HPU is a place of encouragement not only to be curious and succeed in your educational journey but to also travel! Whether it be studying abroad during semesters or just going to somewhere you've never been while on break, have an adventure and explore while life allows you to and college is one of those times :) I definitely loved exploring New York City and Upstate New York!

Introduction
Aloha Everyone,
My name is Angela :) I am a local student born and raised on the island of Oahu. I come from a small town in the infamous North Shore and know I am lucky to have been living in such a beautiful place since the day I entered this earth. I am also in my third year here at Hawai'i Pacific University, majoring in Public Health . HPU is an amazing university that has helped me to grow as a person, go beyond in my academics, and to get involved with not only my university but also the community.
